Plantation Media was formed in 2001 in Statesboro, Georgia by a group of media professionals within the market who noticed a tremendous, unserved need. As happens in many towns, the market was growing at a breakneck pace, and the surge was bringing a flood of new business competition to the area. While some of the new national industries were bringing with them some fresh new marketing ideas, the local market was having a hard time redefining its approach to keep up.
